English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and Dutch. Leave the language unselected and it writes in whatever language your idea is in; pick one and it writes in that, whatever language you typed. Other alphabets are not offered yet: a script in Sinhala, Tamil or Chinese takes several times the computing to produce, so it would have to be priced differently, and that is a decision for later rather than a half-built feature now. The free teleprompter reads any language.
You get 3 free Director sessions a day, with no account and no card. A session is a new idea or script; switching between Natural Yap and Authority on the same idea, refining it and editing it by hand are all free, because seeing the comparison is the point. The classic teleprompter, recording, the script library and the speech timer are free and unlimited, as they always were: serving a web page costs us nothing, and directing a script runs a real AI model that costs real money each time.
Recording never does: your camera and the MP4 stay in your browser. Director Mode is different and we say so plainly: it sends the text you enter for processing, and it is not stored there. Your camera recording remains local. If you want nothing sent anywhere, paste your text into the classic teleprompter instead.
One quiet note at the right moment: LOOK AT CAMERA before the line that should meet the lens, BREATHE before a big section, SLOW into the turn, LAND THIS LINE on the one the piece exists for. Most lines carry no cue at all, and you can switch every cue off for a clean read, or change any line’s direction by tapping it.
